Each vacuum-packed pack of 500g gives 10,300 kJ or 2,500 kcal of energy and contains the highest possible ratio of balanced nutrition compared to volume.
The pack is subdivided for easy rationing; Each pack of biscuits (500 g net) contains 18 tablets packed in 9 bars with grease-proof paper. The 9 bars are packed under vacuum in air- and water-tight aluminium-foil. This unit is protected by a water-repellent cardboard box.
The shelf-life of these packs is five years unconditionally from the date of production marked on the packaging
Each carton of 500g rations is 38cm x 22.5cm x 20cm in size.
In survival situations, one 500g pack provides enough nutrition to last one person 72 hours.
